Snubbull has made appearances in the anime, often depicted as a pampered pet, most notably as a recurring companion to a wealthy woman named Madame Muchmoney. Its unique blend of fierce looks and gentle demeanor has endeared it to many fans, making it a memorable Pokémon from the Johto region. In the games, Snubbull's Normal typing initially offered it good offensive coverage with few weaknesses, and its later Fairy typing provided a strong defensive advantage against Dragon-type Pokémon.
