Sharpedo

Sharpedo, the Brutal Pokémon, is a dual Water/Dark-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It evolves from Carvanha starting at Level 30. This menacing aquatic predator is known for its incredible speed and powerful jaws, often referred to as the "bane of the seas." Sharpedo’s streamlined, torpedo-like body allows it to cut through water at astonishing velocities, making it a formidable hunter. Its diet primarily consists of other marine Pokémon, which it ambushes with swift, brutal attacks. In the wild, Sharpedo are often found in deep, open waters, sometimes in schools, but they are also known for their solitary, aggressive nature. In the anime, Sharpedo have been depicted as powerful and sometimes dangerous Pokémon, often encountered by protagonists in marine environments. Its unique typing gives it an interesting set of type matchups, being weak to Electric, Grass, Fighting, and Bug, but resistant to Fire, Water, Ice, Ghost, and Dark. Its design, reminiscent of a great white shark combined with a torpedo, contributes to its popularity and iconic status among fans.
