It evolves into Scizor when traded holding a Metal Coat, or into Kleavor in the Hisui region when exposed to a Black Augurite. It has also made numerous appearances in the anime, often depicted as a powerful and proud warrior, notably with Ash Ketchum's rival, Gary Oak, owning a Scyther.
