Pikachu

Pikachu, the iconic Electric-type Mouse Pokémon, was introduced in Generation I alongside the very first Pokémon games, Pokémon Red and Green. As the most recognizable Pokémon globally, it serves as the franchise's mascot and the constant companion of protagonist Ash Ketchum in the anime series. Pikachu evolves from Pichu when leveled up with high friendship and can then evolve into Raichu when exposed to a Thunder Stone. Its natural habitat includes forests and fields where it can be found living in groups. Pikachu primarily feeds on berries, which it often roasts with its electric shocks. Known for its timid yet fiercely loyal nature, Pikachu can generate powerful electrical attacks by storing electricity in its cheek pouches. Its distinctive cry and endearing appearance have cemented its status as a cultural icon, representing the entire Pokémon franchise across various media, from video games and trading cards to movies and merchandise. In the games, Electric-type Pokémon like Pikachu are strong against Flying and Water types, while being weak to Ground types.
