Pikachu

Pikachu, the iconic Mouse Pokémon, is an Electric-type creature first introduced in Generation I. It is the most recognizable Pokémon globally, serving as the franchise's mascot and Ash Ketchum's loyal companion in the long-running anime series. Pikachu evolves from Pichu when leveled up with high friendship, and into Raichu when exposed to a Thunder Stone. Its natural habitat includes forests and power plants, where it can be found living in small groups. Pikachu primarily feeds on berries and other small plant matter, often charring them with electricity to cook them before eating. Known for its friendly yet mischievous demeanor, Pikachu communicates through a series of "pika-pika" sounds and can often be seen charging its cheeks with electricity, ready to unleash a powerful shock. Its type matchups make it strong against Flying and Water types, while vulnerable to Ground types. Beyond the games and anime, Pikachu has permeated popular culture, appearing in countless merchandise, films, and even as a Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade balloon, solidifying its status as a global icon.
