Pikachu

Pikachu, the iconic Electric-type Pokémon, was first introduced in Generation I alongside the original 150 Pokémon, quickly becoming the global mascot for the entire franchise. Known for its charming appearance and powerful electric abilities, Pikachu evolves from Pichu when leveled up with high friendship, and then into Raichu when exposed to a Thunder Stone. In the wild, Pikachu are often found in forests and near sources of electricity, where they can store and discharge electricity from the pouches in their cheeks. Their diet primarily consists of berries, which they often roast using their electric attacks before consuming. Throughout the Pokémon games and anime, Pikachu has played a central role, most notably as Ash Ketchum's steadfast companion, influencing its widespread cultural significance as a symbol of friendship, adventure, and perseverance. Its type matchup makes it strong against Flying and Water types, while being vulnerable to Ground types. Its endearing nature and recognizable design have cemented its place as one of the most beloved and recognizable characters in popular culture worldwide.
