Pikachu

Pikachu, the iconic Electric-type Pokémon, was introduced in Generation I as one of the original 151 Pokémon from the Kanto region. It is the evolved form of Pichu and can evolve into Raichu when exposed to a Thunder Stone. Pikachu is arguably the most recognizable Pokémon globally, serving as the franchise's mascot and Ash Ketchum's loyal companion in the anime. Its natural habitat often includes forests and open fields, where it can be found living in small groups. Pikachu primarily feeds on berries and fruits, using its electric abilities to both gather food and defend itself. Its behavior is generally playful and curious, but it can become fiercely protective when threatened. In the games, Pikachu is known for its speed and special attack, making it a valuable asset in many teams. Its Electric typing gives it an advantage against Water and Flying types, while it is vulnerable to Ground-type attacks. Beyond the games and anime, Pikachu's image is ubiquitous in pop culture, appearing on countless merchandise items and even as a symbol of Japan's kawaii (cute) culture.
