Phanpy

Phanpy, the Long Nose Pokémon, is a ground-type introduced in Generation II of the Pokémon franchise. It is known for its playful and energetic demeanor, often seen rolling around like a ball or splashing in rivers. Phanpy evolves into Donphan, a more robust and powerful ground-type Pokémon, at level 25. Its natural habitat includes mountainous regions and forests, where it uses its trunk to search for food and to greet other Phanpy. Phanpy typically feeds on berries and roots, and its strong trunk is also used for defense or to playfully nudge opponents. In the games, Phanpy is a relatively early-game Pokémon, often found in areas like Route 45 in Pokémon Gold and Silver. In the anime, Ash Ketchum owns a Phanpy that later evolves into Donphan, showcasing its loyalty and strength. Phanpy’s design, resembling a baby elephant, has made it a fan favorite, embodying innocence and strength in a charming package. Its ground typing gives it an advantage against fire, electric, poison, rock, and steel types, while making it vulnerable to water, grass, and ice attacks.
