Oshawott

Oshawott is a beloved Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V, hailing from the Unova region. As a Sea Otter Pokémon, its design is clearly inspired by these playful marine mammals, and it is one of the three starter Pokémon available to trainers in Pokémon Black and White and their sequels. Oshawott evolves into Dewott at level 17, and then into Samurott at level 36, forming a formidable evolutionary line. In the wild, Oshawott are known for their distinctive scalchop, a shell-like appendage on their belly that they use both for offense and defense. They are often depicted as energetic and slightly clumsy, making them endearing to many fans. Its diet primarily consists of seafood, which it expertly pries open with its scalchop. Oshawott has played a significant role in the Pokémon anime as Ash's companion, further cementing its popularity and making it a recognizable figure across the franchise.
