Oddish

Oddish, the Weed Pokémon, is a beloved Grass/Poison-type creature first introduced in Generation I of the Pokémon franchise. Its distinctive spherical blue body and leafy green foliage make it instantly recognizable. Oddish is primarily nocturnal, burying its root-like feet in the ground during the day to absorb nutrients and emerging at night to wander. Its preferred habitats are lush grasslands and forests, where it can easily find suitable soil. The sap from its leaves is said to be poisonous, but its adorable appearance often belies this fact. Oddish evolves into Gloom, which then has two possible evolutions: Vileplume (using a Leaf Stone) or Bellossom (using a Sun Stone). In the games, Oddish is a common early-game Pokémon, offering players a solid Grass/Poison option. In the anime, it has appeared frequently, often depicted as shy but resourceful. Its charming design and straightforward evolution line have cemented its place as a fan favorite, representing the classic early-game flora of the Pokémon world.
