Nidoran

Nidoran♀, the Poison Pin Pokémon, is a small, quadrupedal creature with large ears and a stocky build. Introduced in Generation I, Nidoran♀ is a pure Poison-type Pokémon known for its potent venom. It evolves into Nidorina at level 16, which then evolves into Nidoqueen when exposed to a Moon Stone. Nidoran♀ and its male counterpart, Nidoran♂, are unique in that they represent one of the earliest examples of gender differences and separate evolution lines in the Pokémon world. They inhabit grasslands and savannas, often seen foraging for berries and small insects. Their behavior is generally timid, but they are quick to defend themselves with their venomous barbs if threatened. In the games, Nidoran♀ is a common early-game encounter, valued for its ability to learn a wide range of moves through Technical Machines (TMs) and its strong evolved forms. In the anime, Nidoran♀ often appears in various episodes, showcasing its gentle yet protective nature.
