Mareep

Mareep is an Electric-type Pokémon introduced in Generation II, known for its fluffy, static-generating wool. This wool stores electricity, and Mareep uses it to light up its tail, which glows brighter the more static it has accumulated. Mareep is often found in grassy fields and pastures, grazing peacefully while its wool continues to charge. Its diet primarily consists of grass and other plant matter. In the anime, Mareep are often depicted as gentle and somewhat timid creatures, sometimes used by farmers for their wool or as companions. It evolves into Flaaffy at level 15, and then into Ampharos at level 30, a powerful lighthouse Pokémon. As an Electric type, Mareep is strong against Flying and Water types, but weak against Ground types. Its design, reminiscent of a sheep, has made it a beloved and recognizable Pokémon, symbolizing comfort and a gentle introduction to Electric-type Pokémon for many trainers.
