Lunala is a majestic Psychic/Ghost-type Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation VII, serving as one of the flagship Pokémon for the Alola region. Known as the "Beast that Calls the Moon," Lunala is revered in Alolan mythology as an emissary of the moon, said to absorb light and convert it into energy. It evolves from Cosmoem, which in turn evolves from Cosmog, forming a unique and cosmically connected evolutionary line. Lunala’s immense power allows it to open Ultra Wormholes, connecting dimensions and playing a pivotal role in the Ultra Beast storyline within the Pokémon Sun and Moon games. Its natural habitat is believed to be Ultra Space, though it occasionally appears in the Alola region, especially during significant lunar events. Lunala primarily feeds on light, which it absorbs through its crescent-shaped wings.
