Litwick

Litwick is a Ghost/Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V, making its debut in the Unova region. It is known as the Candle Pokémon, characterized by its small, white, candle-like body with a purple flame on its head. Litwick are often found in old, abandoned buildings or dark forests, where they lure people and Pokémon by pretending to guide them with their flame. Unbeknownst to their unsuspecting victims, Litwick slowly drain their life energy, which fuels their own flame. This macabre behavior, while unsettling, is a crucial part of their life cycle. Litwick evolves into Lampent at level 41, which then evolves into Chandelure when exposed to a Dusk Stone. In the Pokémon anime, Litwick have been depicted as mischievous and sometimes dangerous, further emphasizing their eerie nature. Their unique dual typing of Ghost and Fire gives them an interesting set of resistances and weaknesses in battle, making them a distinctive presence in the Pokémon world. Their design is rooted in the Japanese yokai concept of the hitodama, or human soul fire, adding a layer of cultural depth to their creation.
