Clefairy are known for their shy and reclusive nature, often dancing under the light of the full moon in groups. In the games, Clefairy is often an early-game Pokémon, evolving into a powerful special attacker. In the anime, it gained significant recognition as one of Ash's earliest companions and was briefly considered his starter Pokémon in the pilot episode.
