Lampent is a Ghost/Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It is the evolved form of Litwick and evolves into Chandelure. Lampent typically resides in hospitals or abandoned buildings, drawn to the life energy of the dying. Its Pokédex entries often describe its macabre habit of absorbing the souls of the deceased, using them as fuel for its ethereal flame. Despite its somewhat sinister nature, Lampent is often depicted as a rather solemn and quiet Pokémon.
