Krokorok

Krokorok, the Desert Croc Pokémon, is a dual Ground/Dark-type introduced in Generation V. It evolves from Sandile at level 29 and then into Krookodile at level 40. Known for its distinctive black and tan striped pattern, Krokorok is often depicted in arid environments, reflecting its desert habitat. In the Pokémon world, Krokorok are social creatures that live in groups and are particularly noted for the protective membranes that shield their eyes from sandstorms, a crucial adaptation for survival in their harsh surroundings. They are often seen in the anime and games as mischievous but powerful Pokémon, capable of strong physical attacks. Its evolution line plays a significant role in the Unova region, particularly with characters like N and Alder, highlighting its presence in the region's ecosystem. As a Ground/Dark type, Krokorok has an interesting set of type matchups, being strong against Fire, Electric, Psychic, and Ghost types, but vulnerable to Water, Grass, Ice, Fighting, Bug, and Fairy types.
