Jirachi

Jirachi is a Psychic/Steel-type Mythical Pokémon introduced in Generation III, specifically in the Hoenn region games Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. Known as the "Wish Pokémon," Jirachi is said to awaken for only seven days every thousand years, during which it grants wishes to those who awaken it. Its unique ability to grant wishes has made it a highly sought-after and beloved Pokémon, often appearing in movies and special distributions. Jirachi's natural habitat is not clearly defined, as it is a celestial Pokémon that sleeps for millennia. When it is awake, it is often seen floating gracefully, its three tags on its head resembling wish tags. It does not evolve from or into any other Pokémon, making it a standalone Mythical creature. In the games, Jirachi often serves as a special event Pokémon, obtainable through distributions rather than regular gameplay. In the anime, Jirachi starred in "Jirachi: Wish Maker," where its wish-granting powers were central to the plot. Its charming design and powerful lore contribute to its significant cultural impact within the Pokémon franchise, symbolizing hope and dreams. Its Psychic typing gives it an advantage against Fighting and Poison types, while its Steel typing provides resistance to a wide array of types including Normal, Flying, Rock, Bug, Steel, Grass, Psychic, Ice, and Dragon, though it is weak to Ground and Fire attacks.
