Haunter

Haunter, the Gas Pokémon, is a Ghost/Poison-type introduced in Generation I. It is the evolved form of Gastly and itself evolves into Gengar when traded. Known for its mischievous and eerie nature, Haunter is often found in dark, abandoned places, haunting old houses, and preying on the fears of others. Its spectral body is composed of gas, allowing it to float through walls and manipulate its form. In the anime, Haunter famously befriended Ash Ketchum in Lavender Town, helping him defeat Sabrina's Psychic-type Pokémon with its comedic antics. Its ability to cause endless shuddering with its gaseous hand is a prominent part of its lore, emphasizing its unsettling yet playful demeanor. Haunter's design, with its disembodied hands and menacing grin, has made it one of the most recognizable and beloved Ghost-type Pokémon. Its unique type combination gives it resistances to Poison, Bug, and Grass, but a notable weakness to Psychic and Ground types in the video games.
