Gloom

Gloom, the Weed Pokémon, is a Grass/Poison-type creature introduced in Generation I. It is the evolved form of Oddish and evolves further into Vileplume or Bellossom depending on the evolutionary stone used. Gloom is known for its unpleasant odor, which it emits from the nectar it stores in its mouth. While the smell is said to be potent enough to knock out a human from 1.2 miles away, some people actually find the scent quite appealing. In the wild, Gloom can often be found in grassy plains and forests, typically near water sources, where it absorbs moonlight to grow. Its diet consists primarily of nutrients absorbed through its roots and energy from the sun. In the Pokémon games, Gloom serves as a reliable Grass/Poison type, offering good defensive capabilities and access to status-inflicting moves. In the anime, it often appears as a wild Pokémon or as part of a trainer's team, showcasing its unique abilities and sometimes its comical reactions to its own stench.
