Fairy Energy is an essential resource in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, representing the mystical and enchanting power source for Fairy-type Pokémon. Introduced in Generation VI with the release of the Pokémon X and Y video games, Fairy-type Pokémon brought a new dynamic to the game, primarily as a counter to the previously dominant Dragon-type.
