Eternatus V

Eternatus is a legendary Poison/Dragon-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII, specifically within the Galar region. It is known as the Gigantic Pokémon and is central to the lore of the Dynamax phenomenon, being the source of its energy. Eternatus is an extraterrestrial Pokémon that came to Galar inside a meteorite 20,000 years ago, causing the "Darkest Day" event. Its body is composed of a skeletal, draconic structure with a core that resembles a power plant, constantly emitting energy. In its natural habitat, which is effectively outer space, it absorbs energy from stars. On Earth, it hibernates deep underground, occasionally releasing Galar particles that lead to Dynamaxing. Eternatus has a unique form called Eternamax Eternatus, which it enters during the climax of the Darkest Day, threatening to destroy the Galar region. In the Pokémon games, it is a formidable opponent and a crucial part of the main story, requiring the combined efforts of Zacian and Zamazenta to be defeated. Its imposing design and significant role in the Galar region's history and phenomena have cemented its place as a memorable legendary Pokémon. Its type combination grants it resistance to Grass, Fire, Water, Electric, Fighting, and Poison, but a significant weakness to Ice, Ground, Dragon, and Psychic.
