Ducklett, the Water Bird Pokémon, was introduced in Generation V and is a pure Water-type. It evolves into Swanna starting at level 35. Native to freshwater environments like lakes, ponds, and rivers, Ducklett are known for their exceptional swimming abilities, often diving deep underwater to forage. Their diet primarily consists of aquatic plants and small invertebrates, with peat moss being a particular favorite as mentioned in some Pokédex entries. In the games, Ducklett can be found in various water routes in the Unova region. In the anime, Ducklett often appear in episodes featuring serene water bodies, sometimes depicted in playful groups. They are generally portrayed as gentle and somewhat timid Pokémon, but can be surprisingly agile and quick when needed. Their design, resembling a young duckling, contributes to their appeal as a cute and approachable Pokémon, making them popular among younger fans.
