Drifloon

Drifloon, the Balloon Pokémon, is a Ghost/Flying-type introduced in Generation IV. It is the pre-evolution of Drifblim. Drifloon are known for their eerie yet somewhat endearing nature, often mistaken for balloons. They are said to be formed from the spirits of people and Pokémon and are known to enjoy damp, humid seasons. In the games, Drifloon are notoriously difficult to catch early on, as they only appear on specific days of the week in certain locations, adding to their mystique. Their Pokédex entries often mention their tendency to try and pull children away, though their small size and light weight usually prevent them from succeeding. Despite this slightly sinister aspect, Drifloon's design is whimsical and memorable, making it a popular Pokémon among fans. Its unique typing gives it interesting matchups, being immune to Normal and Fighting-type moves, and resistant to Poison and Bug, but weak to Rock, Ghost, Electric, Ice, and Dark. In the anime, Drifloon have appeared in various episodes, often showcasing their playful and sometimes mischievous personalities.
