Dreepy is a dual Dragon/Ghost-type pseudo-legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII, native to the Galar region. It is known as the Lingering Pokémon, a title that reflects its poignant backstory. According to its Pokédex entries, Dreepy are the reborn spirits of ancient aquatic creatures that once lived in prehistoric seas. They are often found in damp, dark places, particularly near water sources, as if searching for their former habitat. Despite their ghostly nature, Dreepy are surprisingly playful and form strong bonds with their evolutionary relatives, Drakloak and Dragapult, often riding on their heads or being launched by them as projectiles.
