Donphan, the Armor Pokémon, is a Ground-type introduced in Generation II, heralded as one of the first Pokémon to be revealed prior to its game's release, making an early appearance in the first Pokémon movie. It evolves from Phanpy, a playful elephant calf, at level 25.
