Dedenne

Dedenne, the Antenna Pokémon, is a dual Electric/Fairy-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VI. Resembling a small, plump orange hamster or mouse, Dedenne is notable for its long, black whiskers, which serve dual purposes: the upper whiskers act as sensitive antennae to survey its surroundings, while the lower whiskers are organs capable of shooting electricity. Dedenne primarily inhabits arid regions and grasslands, often found near electrical outlets or power sources, as it has a peculiar habit of absorbing electricity from them. Its diet consists mainly of berries and other small plant matter, supplemented by the occasional snack of electrical energy. In the Pokémon anime, Dedenne gained significant popularity as Bonnie's companion, often seen riding in her bag, showcasing its playful and affectionate demeanor. Its small size and adorable appearance have made it a fan favorite, embodying the cuteness often associated with Electric-type rodents. As a standalone Pokémon, Dedenne does not evolve from or into any other Pokémon, making it a unique and self-contained species in the Pokédex. Its Electric/Fairy typing provides it with an interesting set of resistances and weaknesses, making it a versatile addition to many teams in the video games, particularly against Dragon-type Pokémon.
