Dark Golbat

Dark Golbat is the evolved form of Zubat, a common cave-dwelling Pokémon first introduced in Generation I. It is a dual-type Poison/Flying Pokémon known for its large mouth and sharp fangs, which it uses to drain the blood of its prey. Golbat evolves from Zubat at level 22 and further evolves into Crobat when leveled up with high friendship, a mechanic introduced in Generation II. In the wild, Golbat are nocturnal creatures that navigate using ultrasonic waves. They are often depicted as mischievous or aggressive in the anime, frequently appearing as part of villainous teams like Team Rocket. Its evolution line is notable for being one of the few that gains an additional evolution in a later generation, making Crobat a fan-favorite for its speed and design. Golbat's typing gives it weaknesses to Psychic, Electric, Ice, and Rock types, while it resists Fighting, Poison, Grass, and Bug types, and is immune to Ground attacks. Its role in the games often involves being an early-game annoyance in caves, but it can become a powerful ally with its high speed and access to status-inflicting moves.
