Centiskorch evolves from Sizzlipede, a smaller but equally fiery Bug/Fire-type Pokémon. In the games, Centiskorch is a formidable opponent, often seen in the Wild Area, and is notably used by Bede, one of the rivals in Pokémon Sword and Shield, in its Gigantamax form. Its unique typing gives it interesting matchups, being strong against Grass, Ice, Bug, and Steel types, but vulnerable to Water, Flying, and Rock attacks. In the anime, Centiskorch has been featured in various battles, showcasing its intimidating presence and powerful fire-based attacks.
