Exeggcute is a Grass/Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Known as the Egg Pokémon, it is actually a cluster of six psychic eggs that communicate via telepathy. These eggs often appear cracked, but they are not broken; rather, this indicates their psychic energy is developing. Exeggcute typically inhabit tropical and subtropical forests, often found near bodies of water. Their diet primarily consists of nutrient-rich soil and sunlight, which they absorb to strengthen their psychic powers. When one of the six eggs is separated from the cluster, the others will instinctively try to find it, demonstrating their strong communal bond. Over time, when the six eggs are ready, they evolve into Exeggutor, a powerful Grass/Psychic-type Pokémon resembling a walking palm tree. In the anime, Exeggcute are often depicted as mischievous but ultimately harmless creatures, sometimes used by trainers for their unique psychic abilities. Their distinctive appearance and unusual biology make them a memorable part of the original 151 Pokémon.
