This unique characteristic is central to its evolution line. Tynamo evolves into Eelektrik starting at level 39, which then evolves into Eelektross when exposed to a Thunder Stone. This evolution line is notable for being the only one that has no weakness to Ground-type attacks, despite being Electric-type, due to their Levitate ability in the main series games.
