Their diet consists primarily of prey they hunt themselves, a skill diligently taught by the female Pyroar of the pride. Litleo evolves into Pyroar, a majestic and powerful lion Pokémon, at level 35. Pyroar's appearance differs between sexes, with males boasting a large, fiery mane and females having a more elegant, flowing mane reminiscent of a ponytail. In the games, Litleo often serves as an early-game Fire-type option, providing valuable coverage against Grass, Bug, and Ice types. In the anime, Litleo are frequently depicted as playful yet determined young Pokémon, often seen learning the ropes of hunting and pride dynamics.
