Blipbug

Blipbug is a Bug-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII, making its debut in the Galar region. It is known as the Larva Pokémon and is the first stage in an evolutionary line that culminates in the powerful Orbeetle. Blipbug evolves into Dottler starting at Level 10, which then evolves into Orbeetle starting at Level 30. In the games, Blipbug is often encountered in early routes, serving as an accessible Bug-type for new trainers. Its small size and somewhat unassuming appearance belie its future potential, as Orbeetle gains Psychic typing and becomes a formidable special attacker with a high Special Defense stat. Blipbug's design, characterized by its large, contemplative eyes and simple larval form, suggests a creature focused on observation and data collection, a theme that carries through its evolutions.
