Torkoal

Torkoal is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III, hailing from the Hoenn region. Known as the Coal Pokémon, its most distinctive feature is the smoke that constantly billows from its shell, a result of burning coal within its body. Torkoal typically lives in mountainous regions and volcanic areas, where it can easily find the coal it needs to fuel its internal furnace. It is a gentle and somewhat melancholic Pokémon, often seen with a sad expression, though it can become quite formidable when provoked, exhaling powerful bursts of fire and smoke. Torkoal does not evolve from or into any other Pokémon, making it a standalone creature in its evolutionary line. Its Fire typing gives it advantages against Grass, Ice, Bug, and Steel types, while being weak to Water, Ground, and Rock types. In the Pokémon anime, Ash owned a Torkoal for a period, showcasing its steadfast loyalty and surprising power in battles.
