Slowbro is a Water/Psychic-type Pokémon, first introduced in Generation I as part of the original 151 Pokémon. It evolves from Slowpoke when a Shellder attaches itself to Slowpoke's tail. This unusual evolution results in a symbiotic relationship where the Shellder's bite enhances Slowbro's Psychic abilities, while Slowbro's tail provides food for the Shellder. Slowbro is known for its perpetually dazed expression and slow, ponderous movements, often appearing to be in a state of deep thought or confusion. Its natural habitat is typically near water, such as beaches, rivers, and lakes, where it can be found leisurely swimming or lounging. In the Pokémon games, Slowbro is valued for its high Special Attack and Special Defense stats, making it a formidable special tank. In the anime, it often appears as a calm, wise, but easily distracted Pokémon. Slowbro also gained significant cultural recognition with the introduction of Mega Slowbro, which sees the Shellder completely engulfing its host, further emphasizing their bond.
