Chansey, the Egg Pokémon, is a Normal-type creature first introduced in Generation I. Known for its kind and compassionate nature, Chansey is often found in Pokémon Centers, assisting Nurse Joy with healing injured Pokémon. Its diet primarily consists of berries and other plant-based foods, which it meticulously gathers and stores in its pouch. Chansey's behavior is characterized by its nurturing instincts, often sharing its highly nutritious eggs with those in need. It evolves from Happiny when leveled up while holding an Oval Stone during the day, and then into Blissey when leveled up with high friendship. As a Normal-type, Chansey is weak to Fighting-type Pokémon but resistant to Ghost-type attacks. In the games and anime, Chansey is a symbol of healing and care, frequently depicted as a supportive and gentle companion.
