Its origins are shrouded in mystery, believed to be an alien lifeform from another dimension rather than a native Pokémon of the Alola region. In the anime, Celesteela made its debut in the episode "A High-Stakes Spiking Battle!", where it was depicted as an imposing, yet sometimes gentle, giant.
